If I ever hosted SNL it would just be 90 minutes of me crying on the floor
That’d still be a better show than approximately 13/20ths of the guests they have.

“Mr. David Letterman as I call him out of respect and fear has unknowingly been a family friend of mine since I was ten years old…By the time I left for college ‘Late Night’ had cemented its place at the epicenter of culture for anyone that wasn’t a dope. Basically every boy I went to college with was doing a twenty-four hour a day David Letterman impression…and it really worked to make me like them. And I am not embarrassed to say that by graduation I had been turned down by dozens of David Letterman impersonators. But the joke is on you college nerds because I grew up to be an off brand weirdo. And I have been if the internet is to be believed lucky enough to have appeared on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman” fifteen times. Sometimes because somebody more important had cancelled…Dave is someone you watch not because you like him but because you fantasize that he would like you…And tonight we declare it officially, my Mom is right David Letterman you are an American treasure like the Grand Canyon or the Chicago Skyline or the top two Kardashians.”

SNL’s New Obama of the Day: After four years playing President Obama on SNL, Fred Armisen is (thankfully) turning the job over to Jay Pharoah, who joined the show in 2010.
“Jay has been doing Obama in his act this summer, and Jay is coming into his own,” Lorne Michaels said. “I just thought it might be time to shake it up.”
(Here’s a clip of Pharoah as Obama so you can decide for yourself.)
Relevant: Jason Sudeikis will reprise his roles as Mitt Romney and Joe Biden, and Taran Killam has been tapped to portray Paul Ryan.

Jay Pharoah is probably one of the only reasons I would watch SNL.
