It’s September 11th.
For the same reason that I wouldn’t reblog a gif of a soldier shooting an unarmed citizen, I will not reblog gifs of the planes hitting the towers, or of the towers falling. You are watching (and glorifying) people dying. This is a terrible and improper way to pay your respects. We all should be able to grieve without having to re-live those moments over and over again.
I hope that I’ll be able to visit the memorial in New York in the next few years.
