Online retailer imposes the world’s first tax for people using IE7
If you’re still using IE 7 or lower, you should be ashamed of yourself. Shame, shame, shame. If you have IE 7 and you’re shopping with online retailer Kogan, you can expect to have an extra tax tacked on to your purchase until you use an up to date browser. The tax is to make up for the time it takes their web designers to make the site work in your shitty, out of date browser.
For a long time I’ve wanted to make my website display nothing but a cat licking its genitals for anyone using Internet Explorer.
I can’t tell if I support this or not. On one hand, IE isn’t good. On the other hand, should you really be penalized for using it? I don’t think you should.
